Describe one of your favorite moments.
Three days before Christmas 2021. I was living in Maine with my wife, who had flown down to Virginia a few days before to go to a baby shower. We had missed going home for Christmas the year before because of Covid. I was trying to stay ahead of a snowstorm and going to pick up a family friend who was making the drive with me.
As I came over a hill, the setting sun was ahead of me and the horizon was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. A sense of peace came over me. I have never shared that memory before now.
