In no particular order:
Work in college housing: 15 years.
Work in security for a manufacturing plant and at a college: 3 years.
8th grade English teacher: 1 year.
Substitute teacher: 2.5 years.
Grocery store bagger: 2 years.
Community college English/math teacher: 1 semester.
Radio/podcast host:10 years.
Do you practice religion?
Yes, but I need more practice. I’m a Christian that struggles with life and all of it’s problems. I’m not perfect, and I don’t have all of the answers, but I try to live the life I have been given.
Do you remember life before the internet?
Yes, and it was a mixed bag. We had to search for things to distract us from our lives before the world was at our fingertips. I think it was easier to use your imagination though.
What are you good at?
I think I’m good at being funny, being persistent, being a good listener. I am also good at driving long distances.
What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?
To me, having it all means I get to do the things that I want to do and enjoy without worrying about paying my bills and where my next meal is coming from. I do think it’s attainable if I work hard, keep myself motivated, and have just a little luck.
Who would you like to talk to soon?
I try to make contact with people from my past as they come to my mind since our tomorrow’s are never guaranteed.
What personal belongings do you hold most dear?
Among my personal belongings that I hold dear are my grandfather’s coffee cup. He used it for many years. It’s in the shape of a football helmet and he was a fan of the Washington Redskins. He passed away many years before they became the Commanders. I use it to hold my pens and pencils.

That I did some good for some people and made them laugh at the same time.
