It has always been wrestling that gets Joey through hard times, and amid concerns about the coronavirus, he looks at Clash of the Champions II, Miami Mayhem from Jim Crockett Promotions and the NWA. It features an overly long signing segment aboard a yacht, Lex Luger getting attacked by the Horsemen, Steve Williams proves why he should never do commentary, and more. Joey also discusses trying to lower his coffee consumption, why people should be more like the Sheepherders and less like the Bushwhackers, and why are so many wrestling podcasts taking shots at Conrad Thompson?

15. Gagne, not spelled like it’s pronounced: AWA SuperClash II. A little knowledge is dangerous as Joey and Rod Trongard learn something at the same time, Joey continues to be treated to the worst wrestler ever, Curt and Larry make change, Nick Bockwinkel is great as usual, and Joey talks about the greatness of the show Wings and the wonders of DVD sets. All this and more as he looks at AWA SuperClash II.

21. That’s definitely not his mother: SNME May 1985. Joey’s mother doesn’t listen to the show, Joey tries a new coffee, George Steele turns good, Paul Orndorff saves Hulk Hogan and Mr. T, JYD dances with his mom, Cyndi Lauper throws a Mother’s Day party, Fred Blassie brings his “mother”, Moolah has some cake, and Mean Gene goes for the ride as Joey takes a look at the first Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Raccoon’s attack Joey’s campsite and get buff, The Oak Ridge Boys sing, Lex Luger has patented interview hand gestures, Sting has a scary rat tail, Flair and Steamboat have another classic, Terry Funk attacks Flair, WWF is petty, and the tag titles are vacated as Joey looks at WrestleWar ’89.

34. Hogan has a movie coming up: SNME May 1989. Hulk Hogan has a movie coming out and The Big Boss Man in a cage, Zeus makes an appearance, Duggan is the new king, Savage wants his title back, Rude defends the Intercontinental Title, The Brain Busters and Demolition get it on, and Joey notes the passing of Regis and his anniversary gift as he takes a look at the SNME from May 1989.

35. Whatever you do, don’t mention our sponsors: Clash VII June 1989. The building is hot, Jim Ross gets in trouble for doing his job, Jim Cornette gets attacked, we meet the newest Freebird, Ric Flair does an interview in a Laker jacket, the Ding Dongs and Norman debut, we crown new tag team champions, and Lex Luger gives voice to his frustrations as Joey looks at Clash of the Champions VII from WCW.
